The history of the Danish navy is here presented along with more than 150 photographs from the period 1850 - 1943. The motifs are humorous, dramatic and sometimes tragic. They are snapshots from a nearly 100-year period of a proud Danish fleet - and put together show a part of the unique history of Denmark.
