The Legend of Lord B

Summary: Lord B is a parrot living happily deep within the green South American jungle. But one day, a herd of lumberjacks intrudes. They shatter the peace and begin to chop down the trees. Lord B fears for his home. They are on the verge of destroying the forest, and that just won't do! Lord B decides to fly out into the world and investigate who and what is behind the destruction of the jungle. Lord B's mission has begun. Before his journey, he receives a nut from his uncle: a magical nut that will help him when and if he is in danger. It must only be used in emergency situations. Lord B travels far and wide on his mission. Soon he discovers many other threats to nature besides deforestation. It's not only the jungle that is in danger. It's the whole planet. The trees, lakes, rivers, the air and the oceans are so affected by pollution that the order of nature is entirely out of balance. The whole Earth needs to be saved, and the clock is ticking... Fortunately, Lord B meets many friendly figures on his way, both humans and animals, from the giant Greenland whale Bertha to the talking tree Eura and the tiny mole Maurice. They all give him good advice and help him on his journey across the blue planet. From the hot and humid rainforest, Lord B flies over the cold mountains and through the desert, until he reaches another jungle: the big city. And here he meets the greatest ordeal and have the most significant realization
